Hey people how are we all today. It's Friday at last :-). I have fitted my turbo timer today it's a hks Type 0. With the right wiring harness for the is200 but when I take my key out it keeps running but wont let me lock the car till it turns off. Is this just a case of swapping a wire around.

Oh I thought you would be able too lock the car and walk away from it. Hmm might have too put a timer box in too auto lock after timer cuts the engine

Some you can, some you can't - I don't know the ins and outs of the IS200 specifically. But the central locking is 1 with the alarm and immobiliser and it can't immobilise while the engine is still running.

My old car it would lock but not arm the alarm while the engine was still running, so you still had to go back to it afterwards to arm it properly.

LOL its a feature of the "excellent" IS200 wiring,

if you disconnect the wire for "IGN2" you can lock the car while its running with the fob, but it wont charge the alternator whilst its doing so so will drain the battery slightly.
otherwise you'll just have to lock with the key.
