Nice work, looking forward to seeing the end result! Was this easier then than what that guy over on LOC did with modding an actual IS-F grille to fit the 250?

I would say alot easier as he needed to cut the IS-F grill and make it fit, then use plastic epoxy to join the two sections, then fill and sand. I mean he did a great job, but a huge amount of work.

This grill is designed just to be sprayed and dropped straight in. I'm only changing it because I want the Carbon inserts, and if used as standard, as it is meant to be, then the Carbon inserts would just fall through the "L" emblem.

I saw a F-Sport the same colour as mine, in a car park, the grill is similar to the IS-F style but looked too much chrome going on. The easy answer would be to buy the F-Sport grill but it's a different shape obviously because it's the newer updated IS250.

Good work Keith, great to see subtle changes continue to be made to the car. I've driven quite a few IS250 courtesy cars but none of matched the feel and performance of that one! Only a few mods but they make all the difference. Maybe the 'F' Sport comes close, but have yet to drive one.

IS 200 Sport with a few mods, Standardish IS-F. The IS250 SE-L with a few mods has gone to a new home.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Thanks Terry, taking my time to get it right, as you say subtle is the way forward without a doubt.

I looked at a few grills and just didn't like the look, plain or carbon fibre knock offs of original pieces. Terry's IS-F looks great with that mean grill, so I was hoping it would look the part on the IS250 as well.

Just a small update of the grill now sprayed Satin Black, took a few coats with sanding inbetween, now needs to be left to dry/harden for at least a week.

I hope to have the "L" emblems in the next few days to play with. Had a result there, Lexus wanted £26 each for them!!Confusedhock:.........Waited and spotted two on Ebay brand new OEM in the packets, got them for £3.75 each.

I've started a new thread in the Mod section, hope that's okay with the Moderators, just wanted to keep all the pics together as I progressed.
