Really its just a specked up prius.

Haven't seen it in the flesh yet, but I really like that interior. In comparison to the Prius's, it's a million times better. This is just my opinion but the materials in the new Prius are shocking, much worse than our older Prius and I did wonder whether they've done it on purpose because of the CTs arrival.

The only area where the CT falls down when compared to the Prius is space, the Prius is massive inside whereas the rear of this looks a little cramped.

Otherwise if I was in the market for a car like this, I'd happily pay £5k extra for the Lexus given how much extra quality you're getting. Wish it looked like the concept on the outside and had a bit more power though - a 0-60 time of around 8-9s would have made it more appealing.

Haven't tried that joystick thing, it does sound like it's not very intuitive, why they didn't just go for the i-drive type controller like everyone else I'm not sure.

Yeah it's not my kind of car either, just saying that if it was between £25k for a prius or £30k for this, I'd pay the extra £5k and take this.

Marsdendean Thing is I would be tempted to go looking for a year old gs 450h for similar money! And believe me you will find one if you look hard enough!!

Fair point, I was going from the perspective of someone wanting a "low emission car" - otherwise I wouldn't be choosing between a Prius or a CT :tongue_smilie:
