Beware Guys i just cancelled the policy on my Isuzu Trooper and got charged £140 quid for the privilege.

to say i was shocked was an understatement. i even clarified with the girl when i toom the policy that i would probably cancel it after 6 months and was told no problem. But as per usual they will say anything to get your business.

Be careful guys and make sure i fully understand the agreement of whoever your taking your policy out with and like me if you plan on cancelling the policy after 6 months or think i may happen get it in writing.

All i will say now is my business will definatley be going else where next year. Trust is a thing that is hard to earn and easy to lose and they have totally lost mine. Which is a real shame considering i had my insurance with them for 6 years plus now. But goes to show being a loyal customer does not get you a thing.

Im sorry to say but every company will do this ur policy if paid for monthly is broken down to cover over the year when you cancel they will take money that is owed from the policy.

if you pay the full sum at the start then they owe you money if that makes sense

ive seen this with direct line, elephant, more than and bell so its not limited to flux

its how they make money people there not daft

however urs maybe different but my advice always get everything in writting regardless of what it is

£140! Confusedhock:

That is just ridiculous, I can understand an admin fee of £30 or £40 (which is what most insurers charge I think) but £140 is just taking the pi** - I really hope that gets turned around but even so if that's their rule for everyone's policies it's a joke..........

ive just looked through my flux policy and states there is an admin fee for a cancelation

but it all depends if you owe money i.e if you cancel at the end of the month they will still take the money owed for that month if you get what i mean

but as said Dan should be able to help
