Don't use WD40 as this is oil based and can swell the rubbers making the situation worse,
better off using a silicone spray or even Mr Sheen as this contains silicone additives.

Ok some times they need reset if the hold down for ten seconds then put window up for ten dont work try putting window up with flicking the switch so It goes up in steps then pulling the fuse out for a bit then put back in.most cars have a reset on them.others are a combination of ignition on then window up ignition off with window up then down hold button for ten then up hold for ten then press to go down.

Just tried a few up and down methods with ignition on then off, when ignition is on I close the window to the top the pull the auto button up while window is at the top then switch the ignition off the window automatically comes down to halfway even though I'm still holding the auto button up?
I then played around with it and upon trying to get down the up the window suddenly failed then would only go up by an inch then seemed dead even though ignition was on? When I tried pressing up or down the button makes a click sound but the window does not move, I have to turn engine on then off then window will come bak to life, not sure if this has something to do with resetting it? But it's still not working properly Sad

seems odd have you looked inside the door to make sure there is nothing getting caught in the door and making it play up ?

Haven't taken the door card off but it goes up for fine when manually pressed, I think it's the motor or actuator and needs resetting somehow.
