Well after 5 1/2 years of owning and modding my IS200 Sport, she finally went to her new owner today. I didn't even have to advertise her because a guy who does contract work at the fire station had his eye on her for over a year, used to look her over in the station car park.

This car has been faultless and never let me down, a true testimony to what a great little car the IS200 really is. It has been a pleasure to work on and the knowledge base here at the OJC for this particular model is second to none.

So she will be well looked after and anyone living around the Basingstoke area may see her out and about very soon.

Here's one last pic:

I will have a few IS200 parts up for sale very soon too........Brand new TTE bumper which I bought from Chris prior to finding another already sprayed one that was fitted to the car for example.

With the TTE bumpers you usually have to cut out the headlight washers anyway Dean - Phil could just disconnect them and not cut the holes in the bumper - keeps the clean look as well Smile

Cheers Dean for the Heads-up, was not aware of that, is that the problem you had fitting your sx bumper onto yours.

Dave that sounds like a possible solution, like you say it keeps it clean

No worries Phil, I remember the 5 or 6 discs the rubbish wee dremel I bought for the job went through as Ormi was cutting out the washer holes... Seems logical just to not use the headlight washers and not cut the holes Smile

TTE Bumpers look best anyways

Keith are you replacing the IS200 with a different second car, or are you going to just stick with the IS250 now?

Gord MOT fail as phils car has HID's as standard so needs the washer jets, but as you say all phil needs to do is cut the right size hole :p

Gord of course mate, well remembered. get the body shop to cut the holes before he paints it, thats if I get an option to buy it,

I'm just running with the IS250 now, can't afford two motors :w00t: Now to see if I can get back some of the insurance money.......The IS200 was insured 6 weeks ago, but I will only get 50% of the premium back now because the policy ran for more than a month.........I know it's bo11ox, £300 for 6 weeks insurance!!!!!!Confusedcared:Confusedcared:Confusedcared:

The brand new TTE bumper I have does not have the washer holes, however it is marked out on the underside if the holes need to be cut. The one I fitted had the holes and I fitted the washers but it was a pain to do, and in all honesty I think I prefer the seamless look of not having washers.
