Fitting them tomorrow.

TRD ones.

I did a search but found no info.

Does anyone have fitting instructions or a write up for putting them on correctly?

I seems straight forward enough, just want to make sure it is done properly.

Thanks.

Very straightforward matey. Ormi fitted mine for me recently, they basically just bolt into the pre-existing holes where the arch liner is. Word of warning, the front arches have a set of plastic spacers attached, and you will need them to fit the skirts properly...

For extra strength, you can place tape along the top of the skirts to ensure a nice tight fit all the way along.

IS200 Sport - Sold
Mazda 6 MPS - Zoom Zoom!

Modifications
Completed:

Currently 280bhp/295lbft; 3" Meercat custom exhaust; KW Suspension; FMIC; SSP; HPFP; Custom Stainless Steel Dials - for the moment, the only set in the world!! (Till the group buy for MPSOC anyway  )

In Progress:

E-Tuning remap ongoing via Cobb Accessport; Braided brake lines; Stubby aerial; Tinted repeaters and sidelights; 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid; 3" HTP Intake

Dave,thanks for the info.

You wouldn't happen to have any pics of them fitted showing where they sit on the front and rear arches?

Bit late to go taking pics now, but I can do it in the morning if you want..

In the meantime, you can see a writeup with a couple of pics here, about halfway down the page...

Thanks again.

Heh you might think that, but I was too busy blethering with Ormi to remember to take pictures anyway...

I'll nip out just now and take a couple pics of where the fittings are on the front and rear arches...

Front Arch (Note black plastic spacer)

Rear Arch (Only the one bolt on, means no messing about with the second and needing to drill into arches etc; the skirts stay on fine with the bolt and the extra strong VHB tape)

No pics of the underside fixings, as they're not fitted on there; again the tape and arch bolts are solid enough.

Scuse the mud... :kiltsmilie::kiltsmilie:

Ah, but skirts from an IS being broken on fleabay don't arrive with a fitting kit Gord

So I had no plate to fix with, besides it'll be fine as is Smile Ormi said so. Smile

Makes you wonder why they didn't just put the hole somewhere it'd just fit into the arch itself, rather than some plate...

:offtopic: Did you get the address details you needed Gord?
