edit button
its not just this forum its like this theirs lots like it...
and for the small sum of £20 for all benifits i dont see the problem....... other sites are more expensive...
i didnt know you had to be a paid member to have access to the Edit button !
seems a bit crazy, I can understand people hacking, but if someone wanted to hack, there would find a way one way or another.
Dark Samurai LOC is £25, so more expensive.
Rabster So why would the benefits of being a outlaw not suit some members how can the club make this more suited to other people ?

I don't get the point of this thread...?
paid members get more features, simple
this is the bit I don't get tho:
I know spammers can post what they like (and then have their posts removed and accounts blocked, that comes with running a forum)
and i've seen users posts edited with ads before, I don't see how being paid or unpaid is relevent to having posts edited, if a spammer can edit an ad into an unpaid members post, surely they can edit a paid members post
The actual point of this thread was basically asking about the 'edit' button
So when you make a mistake you can edit your thread hopefully before anybody see's it.
I am aware that being an unpaid member then there are less benefits but all I was attempting to get at is why if I make a mistake then why can't I correct my post by using the edit facility.
Not sure why ppl don't get the thread when last year everybody was asking why there was no edit button.

Plus I've read that vB forums should come with an edit button as standard.
Spammers had the same right as every standsard user before except there was a loop hole for example
Say a forum has a character limit and picture limit per post made the lop was that if you went back to edit the post these restrictions were not there as it was an edit button they could manipulate
In allowing this if a spammer was to register at I don’t know 3am when no mods were online then they could spam hundreds of thread and hundreds of posts in minutes.
No one like to see their post being abused by off topic statements about enlarge your ***** or stimulate your woman for longer etc
I’m a member of loads of forums and there are a large number that don’t allow certain features including editing your post, signatures, and avatars even private messages.
Some forums allow users to have these features if they are regular contributors so for example if you help out lots of members on and off the club and your reputation level increases you get added perks.
My question though is still how the club can make the outlaw membership more appealing to other users
I don’t think £20 quid is allot of money to allow all the forum features along with access to all the clubs discount schemes offered by the traders.
Also something to consider the £20 doesn’t just allow you the added features on here it helps with the running of this club and allows the club to offer you the best it can at all meets.
