Hey guys,

I'm currently confused.com and in 2 minds;

1st choice repsray front bumper and buy a front splitter from ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lexus-200-300-Fron...35b16d0d2a, total cost £150 ish

2nd choice buy a new sport front bumper http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lexus-200-Front-Bu...53de6a6910 and get it sprayed cost £180ish, but then could I sell my current bumper for a few quid on ebay???? Would everything go into slot into the new bumper?

Personally I'd go for the TTE replica, your fog lights just slot into the holes in the new bumper. I think it looks better because it gets ride of the join lines around the grill etc.

I'd say hold out for a genuine TTE bumper rather than go for a replica myself, but that's a personal opinion... Smile

IS200 Sport - Sold
Mazda 6 MPS - Zoom Zoom!

Modifications
Completed:

Currently 280bhp/295lbft; 3" Meercat custom exhaust; KW Suspension; FMIC; SSP; HPFP; Custom Stainless Steel Dials - for the moment, the only set in the world!! (Till the group buy for MPSOC anyway :lol: )

In Progress:

E-Tuning remap ongoing via Cobb Accessport; Braided brake lines; Stubby aerial; Tinted repeaters and sidelights; 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid; 3" HTP Intake

think you have to cut into the new bumper for the holes other than that nothing or you could leave them out completly

Aye. The genuine TTE bumper w/o washer holes has little square "cut here" impressions that you can use as a guide to cut them out.

For replica bumpers though I assume you'd probably have to make your own markings and cut the holes.

As DaveEdin says though - go with a genuine if you can. Any cheap fiberglass replica is bound to need a fair amount of work to get it to fit properly and 6 months down the line will probably look like ****.

They tend to come like buses. I spent around a month waiting for one to pop up on ebay, then two turned up a few days apart.

They are hardly ever listed as TTE bumpers tho. More often 'sport' or sometimes the breakers don't know the difference so it'll go up as a normal bumper.

When I briefly had a replica Legana bumper I got totally fed up with the way spray shops would turn their nose up when I asked for prices for spraying/fitting.
