Yeah, I have had the voltage working properly. But done something recently that made it unstable. Going to try wiring the two voltage wires seperatly. Same with the ground see if thats creating a short or something.
Will tackle that first, because I think thats not saving the settings properly, as the AFC won't reset.

Have you tried reinitializing the Neo? Judging by the manual its under an 'Operations' menu.

There's also a sensor check section in there which will tell you what voltage it's receiving for each of the inputs

IG = should be the battery voltage.
Thr = should increase as you press the throttle down
Out = should read the same as Thr (unless you've got a custom map set up).

There's also a sensor check section in there which will tell you what voltage it's receiving for each of the inputs

Got the next four days off work now, so going to have a good crack at it, and try not to get frustrated this time! Smile

Hi ya.

I have installed a fair few of these. The SAFC (especially the older ones) are very fussy with wiring.

You need to TAP all necessary wires apart from MAP / MAF sensor which needs to be intercepted. Most MAP sensors have 3 wires...earth, power and signal. It's the signal that you need to intercept - ECU side to signal out on the SAFC and sensor side to signal in on the SAFC.

Blue wire is for Nissan RB25/26 DETT only but you can tap into the o2 signal to get a voltage reading. Called the blue wire mod.

I'm not sure what version you have, but make sure you get the earth spot on. I think you have 2 earth wires that need to be soldered in 10mm apart in the right order.

LOL James no sorry, but I could talk you through it if you want. The Neos are easier to wire in than the SAFC2. I actually want to install one myself (I have a brand new one I have not used for years but it has a fault so need to get it fixed first).

Right, this is the view of the sensor screen, Without the MAP wires connected. Just trying to sort the voltage issue out to start with.

And this is the view of my wires in ECU box. The block connector is the wire cut for the MAP sensor. I have tried to connect the possitive wires to the black/orange cable also, but this doesn't solve the problem.

Tried to remove each of the wires indiviually, started with the power ones then the ground. The unit ran the same, showing 3.94v. Also removed each of the throttle and RPM wires in turn. And it was neither of those coursing the problems.

Anyone any ideas! Smile

At that point I'd be temporarily running the positive wires directly to the battery just to be sure!

PS wtf are those things you're using to connect the wires?! They look like the work of the devil

I've just had a quick look at the wiring diagram on bahamut cars so this might be wrong - shouldn't you be using a black wire with a red stripe for ignition power? Black + orange is the MREL wire the ECU uses to close the EFI relay so it will be really low power.

I've tried it on both, the Apexi manual says that it should be on the black orange one. But the voltage reads the same off both.
