Woburn Abbey Clasic show
Couple of photos from the Woburn Classic car show this past weekend.
will start with camera phone photos!!
Found in a Ford Cortina, the red one on the right
What on earth is this I thought, then made the mistake of asking the owner........... many hours later escaped and can tell you all its French, 3 seats across the centre, only 5 in the country with RHD, and truly shockingly bad build quality, the steering wheel was a clear 6" left of the centre of the drivers seat, the peddles were all wrong too..
all made from wood, like a boat!!!! the owner built it, really impressive.
aww a capri, with mustang stripes ... adorable ...
Looked like a great day and some gorgeous cars
lol at the Capri, the asking price was £15K:laugh:
the E type had a chrome engine, unfortunately the camera phone just returned a white glare, and the battery on the proper camera had died........
Thanks, the weather was good, but a little windy.
There was a show square, and a few cars were invited to drive round. We got a commentary from one of the "Practical Classics Magazine" writers on each car as it came through, his knowledge was stunning, really knew his cars, from yank tanks to Alfas and all without a crib sheet really impressive stuff. The funniest part was an Alfa Sud, drove into the ring, stopped and would not start again, so it was pushed out with an upset owner as the car was for sale.......
