They do a mix your own colour kit, so it's possible to add a colour tint to the clear. Thinking of a 'Black Pearl' effect. Also note the Plastidip has a matt finish and needs a further clear topcoat to make it gloss.

IS 200 Sport with a few mods, Standardish IS-F. The IS250 SE-L with a few mods has gone to a new home.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Here a vid on how to use Plasti dip

http://youtu.be/SP8owpbR1iw

You can colour code your emblems grill and even your wheels with this stuff
The items your need to do this is the following

Materials
1. Can of PlastiDip
2. Small plastic pick/spackle thing.
3. Masking Tape
4. Newspaper
5. Rubbing Alcohol, Soap, water
6. Cotton Swabs
7. Clean Towels

Dave no this is so you can change the colour of your emblems.

How to use mask of a area around say a emblem with newspaper and tape you dont need to be up against the emblem as this stuff does not stick to you car paint,
Apply around three coats of your colour letting it dry fully between coats and don not over spray.

Once your item has been finished and is tootal dry just peel off the plasti dip from your paint work.

Questions : can i take it off if i dont like it or want to change colour
Answer is yes just peel back the plasti dip and start again.

Always make sure your clean your work surface before starting ideally with Alcoho and a few cotton buds to get tight into the corners

On the emblems you can leave them on the body work saving you damaging them if you had to remove them...

how can you leave your emblem on, as when you spray it will form a skin, if you peel it off the paint it will then peel off completely, emblem coverage as well,
If you look on a few plastidip removal vids it comes off as one piece,
even in his tutorial vid he emphasises it will all peel off @ 5.06,, so be careful.

Removal, it comes off as a skin,,
