Citroen said there had been no reports of the problem before the Watchdog programme!!!!!!
Yea right, why do companies always say the same old rubbish, why can't they just put their hands up and invest time and money to rectify the problem instead of saying the same old b0ll0cks,

Yeah its ****** annoying but unfortunately its the way the world is going
It seems that as soon as a company grows big enough to have its own legal department all good ethics go out the window. Never say sorry (unless the government forces you to), never admit there's a problem (unless forced by court order), never believe the customer....etc
In the true spirit of conspiracy theorism.... are French import/exports somehow hurting the Americans, and will they blow this out of all proportion as they have with Toyota recalls in the past couple of years?
They should recall the cars and give them to driving instructors; saves money on the dual controls after all
Tango ...and it's sister company, Peugeot, has the same design but has fitted a steel plate over the cable in the passenger footwell to stop inadvertent braking by the passenger, whereas in the Citroen it's covered by a piece of felt. Presuming they do actually talk to each other, I wonder which member(s) of Citroen management made the decision to save a fraction of a Euro by not following Peugeot? Hope he/they are now looking for other employment, but hopefully not in the aircraft industry.

parthiban That's opening themselves up for a world of hurt if it's an issue that was obviously discovered...........but hang on, they have a wire in the passenger footwell that if you step on it activates the brakes?
That's so comical it's actually hard to believe!
