Ok here we go I did the clutch on my is200 and now have no speedo checked all the wires to the box and they are all connected. Any ideas guys as my tomtom cant keep up lol.:thumbup:

Check everywhere round the box and the gear stick for trapped wires because this happened to Jay and his speedo didn't work after his wire(s) got caught.

Will check that at the weekend did trap a wire between the bellhousing and back of the block but freed it up. Hmm will have to have a looksey again.

Youve prob crushed the wire, best to unwrap the sheathing on it and have a look

depends, you may be able to solder the wires back together if you have

And now I have another problem I have got oil leaking from the back of the gearbox where the prop goes in. Is there a seal?? Or have I not pushed it in far enough??

There is a little oil seal where the prop goes in mate, Wozza had this same problem which it was wearing, may need to get a new seal?

better not to solder it but to replace the part of the wire that was clamped with a new piece and use some crips on it, solder does have it's drawbacks when you are doinf´g the silver tin wire. and yes i did the same. easy mistake to make, anybody doing a clutch change i say remove to wires and pull them up into the engine bay out the way and then fit them after the clutch is fitted
