yes get the 6spd non-turbo which uses the same prop/gearbox as the TT then buy a GTE engine and rebuild it with big spec (details of which i'm keeping quiet about for the time being), this will limit the amount of time the car is off the road and also save me a little money in the process
in running costs and purchasing cost.Correct Phil only the 97+ SZ-R was 6spd all SZ's are non-turbo and RZ's are TT as are the GZ's

The more time goes on the more i'm thinking import is the only way which isn't necessarily a bad thing

25-04-2018, 11:40 PM #35Hmm possibly stav however I guess it's tricky without having the guy admit it was in a accident all I can go on is a few bent bits and things not fitting, I have made people aware on mkiv about it as a few have suggested I go to view it lol :p

25-04-2018, 11:50 PM #37will get Jurgen at JM-Imports to do the leg work, they will sort everything out for you and have it inspected upon import, I believe most of the imports he gets are grade 4 or 4.5 so pretty mint ones and if there is anything that needs doing they usually include that in the price, there's currently a TT6 coming into the country that they are giving a full interior re-trim upon arrival.

Two possible reasons: 1.) They are an idiot. 2) They are hoping you are!
Unlucky Dan mate. I think the best place to look probably is JDM. You'll find a better one if ya get it direct off the boat.

28-04-2018, 02:09 AM #40Nice find Mikey but it's black, he is quite adamant (not that I have had to listen to hours and hours of the requirements lol) that he won't have a black one. It also doesn't say it's a manual 6 speed and its that is his most important requirement. The advert isn't specific but anyone who knows Supras will use it as a key selling feature so it's usually first thing noted. They are special Dan is Le Mans'ing it this week but I'm sure he will be very excited (and grateful) to know we're all searching for him.
