Yes the airplay mirroring not on the iPhone did annoy me, as if it was I would save up for an Apple TV just for that feature!

jsj24uk iPhones are rubbish.

I've got an iPhone 4 and its both the worst and best phone I've ever owned.

Its the worst because it treats me like a 'tard and wont let me do anything remotely 'advanced' (read: useful). Its years behind other phones in so many respects and I feel like i'm forever tied in to Apple ****.

But, its the best because it just friggin works. I've had hundreds of phones with Android, Windows, Symbian..etc and they all failed me at one time or another performing the most simple of tasks.

parthiban It's nice that they are finally adding stuff to make these iPhones actual competitors to android.

You mean on the software front?

How long until the hardware catches up though?

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

I've never owned an iPhone but agreed with people on this because in the past android has had times (albeit very rare) where it freezes up and needs a reboot or similar.

However that was until I stuck my Galaxy S on Gingerbread - now it really is flawless. Smooth, completely lag free, haven't had any force closes/freezes and the battery lasts ages (easily get 3 days out of it)

The turning point has arrived - Apple has some serious catching up to do.

Yeah I meant software, I'm guessing the iPhone 5 (whenever it arrives) will have the dual core internals to match up to the competition.

Sorry to drift off topic for a sec but did you get a decent deal on your S2? I really want one but they're seriously expensive at the moment unless you sign up to a 24 month contract which I don't want to do.

my htc on froyo was a dog, but still rated it better than my iphone,

now on gingerbread and it kanes all my mates iphones for what it can actually do and how fast it runs

only thing between them now in my opinion is apple lead the way in the app store, i may switch back purely for that reason.
