I loose about 10bhp from my 'charger being driven. It turns so freely and has high gearing that it was only just noticable when i had my charger spinning but not attached to the intake. As soon as I attached it to the intake, that -10bhp was replaced with +100bhp (at top end of course).

It's not as clear cut as one being better than other as they both have their followers for very valid reasons.

I personally would rather a charger as I'm expecting it will be lower maintenance than a turbo. What with it running at ~50c rather than exhaust temps.

Had one of those on my IS200. They aint bad, and considering I had strathcarron blue, the paint match was near on perfect.
