Broken petrol cap!

hi peeps i'm having a problem with my lexus the fuel cap will not open anymore when i pull the leaver it doesn't open now it takes two people to open it ones has to lift the leaver and me have to opening the cap from the edge? it has only done it since y'day wondering how i can correct this probelm is,it a spring or something any ideas (HELP LOL)

Do the 2 person thing and then look on the inside of the petrol cap. On my car, it's a sprung bit of metal that pings the flap open. I guess you're talking about an IS200, I can see on the parts catalogue a £5 part called fuel cap spring Wink

Though I'm sure toxo can sort you out, it may be easier to get it from your local dealer.

ad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confused

Toyota are being ********* about ordering parts for Lexus's these days. Even if you have an Altezza you can't get the parts from Toyota any more, you have to go to Lexus. I only have a Toyota trade discount so can't help I'm afraid.
