Ok guys and girls we ahve done a bit of reserch into the Hog roast idea

2 have the pig on the stand will cost we think no more than £7 pp and by all accounts not small portions

the company we are in talks with offer it to serve 80 people we would be going halves with another club TB-Developments if we can get the right numbers together

from a rough cost up this would still be cheaper than buying the food at the show and would be our own pig for the night lol

however this would only cater for the Saturday night.

so the other option are

Option 1

Hog roast at no more than £7pp (only for Saturday night)

Option 2
we can provide a BBQ for the weekend you bring your own food etc and cook at your own wish (small donation to cover Gas on the BBQ)

Option 3
the club can bulk buy in the food and store it for the show including Burgers, buns Sausages Bacon etc (this would require you either cook your own or someone who can cook being happy to cater for everyone for the weekend maybe a different cook at each of the meals times

Option 4
Buy the food at the show trust me when i say its not cheap a small fry up for breakfast the 1st year i was there cost me just over £10

the club does have a wholesale account and will be ordering a load of soft drinks cans of fizzy stuff along with bottled water which we can sell off on the club stand e.g
can of drink £0.50p
bottle of water £0.70p

there is also the option for sweets etc if people would be interested kind of like a tuck shop lol during the days....

we cant sell alcohol on the stand as we would be required by law to have a licence, however we can buy drinks at wholesale prices if members would like to pre pay for crates etc...

Guess the best thing to do is place this in the Outlaw section as a poll...

Must get up front payments early so we can plan

Yes im with dino, combine option 1 and 3 and offer a set price for the full amount. Only the hog roast will be shared with the TBDev the food for friday night and sat/sun morning will be just for ojc members.

I guess we can give people the option to pay for different options if they arnt there the whole time. Say the hog roast sat night for £7ph. Then the option 3 with the remaining weekends food at say another £7 or however it works out for burgers, sausages etc. People can then cook they're own food on the bbq providing they have paid for one of the other options

sounds good to me plus then we can still sell the soft drinks to whoever wants them if we get some in and maybe charge a bit extra on top for included alcohol say £20-£25 including some booze maybe? and then bring your own to top up the supplies with, so £7 for roast on saturday £8 for rest of weekends food £10 to alcohol?
