Jay's IS200 Sport Mod and Maintenance Thread.
Yep stoney u did mention that in another thread, but I am trying my best to avoid a sub because boot space is goin to be important to me, football, travelling, and cus I have a girlfriend light travelling doesnt excist! lol. The standard speakers are good I must admit, but I know I can get it sounding better, and with the head unit I have there are so many sound options that I wont have trouble with the 6x9's over powering the fronts. If im not satisfied I will get an 8inch sub and work on a small build.
Jay what tweeters are you getting?
Hi Dinho.
I have a pair of MB Quart tweeters coupled with active crossovers. The crossover allows me to adjust the woofers between 0db, 3db and 6db.
How simple is it to remove the rear seats to install the speakers. i was hoping to install the speakers after the F1 tomorrow, and maybe even the front speakers. GRRR I hate impatience.
**** can't edit so here is the first pic of the rear speakers.
My brother has those in his Corolla, very quite bassy for what they are.
They are the type you can change the +dB level on the speaker itself, yeah?
That's the one. Gonna leave it at 0 and let the amp / crossover do its job.
Did you ever get your intake sorted?
Last I read you were waiting for a new filter so you could position it properly?
Hello.
Yes it's been there for weeks now. I guess I did not take pics as I was not completely satisfied with it. (I wanted the filter on the left, not the usual right).
Will post a pic tomorrow.
