Adrian Flux?
Adrian Flux?
I know Adrian Flux are club sponsors, but is it worth me getting a quote?
Last time I called them for a quote on a blown car they asked me "what is a supercharger?" and then when I tried to explain is basic terms how it increased power, I was then asked "does it increase the engine power?" Then finally quoted a ridiculous amount. Needless to say, I was less than impressed with these insurers who specialised in modified cars and yet had never even heard of a supercharger.
I am about to insure a (almost) standard IS200 and wondered whether you guys have any more positive experiences with them? The 15% discount sounds attractive, but only if they are reasonable to begin with! This was several years ago, and I may be prepared to give them another chance!
I don't think they quote online, and it'd probably be quite a long call. I can't do it at work and just thought I'd ask opinions, as I see they sponsor the club. Otherwise I would give them a wide birth, from previous experience alone.
pm your details (NCB, age, postcode etc) and the car details to dan@adrian... check the member list lol, perhaps that's easier
you can get a quote online, I just got a quote as a new customer (altho i'm with them already but haven't had my renewal yet) and it came back (from £600 last year without mods) at £840 with body kit and alloys, but i'd put 3 yrs no claims instead of 4, I did a new quote without the wheels and the extra year no claims, and that came back at £960
I've just went with Adrian Flux. They were £60 cheaper than my renewal with Sky Insurance.
