Crash for cash scams and stuff like that causes the risk to be higher in certain areas

I live in a nice area but its group E postcode

I when I was shopping around for my renewal I used my girlfriends postcode (group B) just to see what the difference would be and it was about 50% less

Those grades are stupid though, where my parents live (nice quiet suburb) is a D, and my apartment in the centre of London is an F yet my insurance premium went down when I moved my insurance to the city address.

Both are great areas though so arguably it's silly that they're ranked so low, other than that they're in London which is just inherently riskier than some sleepy village in the middle of nowhere.

2002 '02' IS200 SE Auto - DVD Satnav with Voice Activation - Strathcaron Blue - Parking Sensors - 5000K HIDs with Anti-Glare Bulbs - PIAA 6500K Main Beams - LED Sidelights - Mirror/Sunroof Closure - TTE Styling Kit - 18" Styling Kit Alloys with nitrogen filled Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric Tyres - Bluetouch Multimedia Kit - Gromaudio AUX in - Black painted calipers with silver Lexus decals - 12 LED Dome Light - 96 LED Boot Light - Stainless Steel Sport Sill Plates - PIAA Silicone Wipers

parthiban Could the huge price hike be because I'm now outside Admiral's target demographic?

Just tried to get a new quote online on their website and after just putting in my name, date of birth and postcode it says it can't give me a quote online. However if I change my date of birth to 10 years younger or 10 years older then it goes to the next page.

Also noticed that on the comparison sites I get a quote from Elephant and Bell, but not Admiral?

Could be. Bell and I think Elephant are part of Admiral but aimed at younger drivers so they give massive excess's I found although the premiums will be roughly the same. With Admiral if you're over 25 and held a license for more than 12 months it's £0 excess.
