uncle bob I did have a Gen6 for a while, it was the AT200, the 1.8SR in Silver, nice car but a bit under powered.
And more recently i was looking for a Gen 5 Auto but gave up the hunt ,as all the ones up for sale in Jan this year were too far gone or to far away, hence a chance in direction and bought my IS300 Auto.
I feel the celica chapter in my life is now passed and its luxury transport from now on .
I feel the same.
The 1.8s were massively under powered. I only had 2.0 GTs and a Turbo'd GT4.

I'll tell you exactly why! The most helpful, knowledgeable, most frequent posters are now all over here! It's the members that make a forum, nothing else.

It's painful to read some of the posts, and even more so to read some of the answers

Just had a look and some guy with a 220D wanted to know why his lights didn't come on during the day when switched to auto. Not really a dumb question because I presume he's in Scandanavia or similar where DRL's are the norm, but the 'helpful' reply from a member was 'they come on in the dark or when going through tunnels, if that's any help'.
It's painful to read some of the posts, and even more so to read some of the answers ad:

I was simply trying to describe a Kazama exhaust to someone when I noticed it.
