Thanks a lot guys! Written off 3 cars!? Have you managed to stay in one piece?
It's great to hear all of these comments as it really does spur me on with such a project... of course it still isn't finished though.
I have a list:
*Fit Sunroof Lining
*Source, buy and fit lower fascia footwell trims
*Source, buy and fit C-Pillar Interior Trims
*Paint Back Box Black - It's got white over spray on it
*Repaint interior lights and RVM - again... over spray
*Get the engine to work without blowing up in my face.
Other than that I'm pretty well there... although I can't see where I'll stop with it... maybe a V8 1UZ-FTTE will give me some distraction..

You'll need a parachute with that lol.. and I wonder how many insurance companies will retire to the bahamas on your first insurance premium
 lmao! Yeh I have been quoted £79000 with just the 4A-GE so I thought "why the hell not" so I've been planning the V8 TT conversion for a number of months.
My particular struggle is finding a set of Turbos that like to work together, I am new to them and I need some decent advice about which manufacturer and model to go with. I will be using an Audi Rear Axle and Diff hooked in with a R series box. I would like a Supra R154 but they are pricey.
Plus I wont be hacking apart my GTi to do it, I'll use my dads when he decides to get rid of it.

Cheers mate Yeh it's certainly going to be around for a lifetime... The 1.3's were awesome little cars, so easy to repair as well - Carburettor FTW!!

That's a gorgeous little motor!
Me dads GTi is much the same:
Such fun cars!
