Awesome. I decided with myself a long time ago that if I was going to drive like a *** I'd do it in such a way that gets me killed and no one else harmed.

I'm glad that you made it out safely each time though Smile

I'm not a 30mph everywhere driver and I spent a lot of time racing cars on tracks in my younger days. Touch wood my driving history has been fortunate to date but you must NEVER EVER forget that each and everytime you start that engine you are endangering other peoples lives however safe you think you are. It only takes a moment to lose control of your car or have something fail and even if you are in the middle of nowhere on your own, you still endanger the emergency services lives and the people who will panic in trying to get out of their way!

Some strange driving style posts on here.

Making sure your not going to hurt or injure anyone else when deciding to drive in "such" a manner is impossible. You loose controll of your car then you have little to no say on what it's going to do or where it's going to go.

You will never ever be good enough to drive that way.

Ok I was worried it'd go a little sour when it came to driving styles Sad Well, I don't drive yet and I'm certain I'll be too scared to go at any pace anyway. Besides that, I'd much rather be out on a track where I don't have to worry about points.... Wink

Just been through this thread and wow! Quite a transformation comparing how that car started and how it is now, and have so much respect for what you've done given your age as well!

Well done, hope you do that V8 swap as that will be seriously impressive!

Cheers! Yeh I am getting all giddy about doing the V8 but it's going to take so much more planning. I have been accepted into Wiltshire College for an Engineering course so hopefully I can get on with fabricating the parts I need for the conversion and to reinforce the chassis. Big Grin

Plus I need to take a decent look at the floor pan and how much I need to chomp out :O
