hi Guys,

not sure if any of the essex members would be up for this bu me and a friend are trying to do a Dyno Day for charity. she works for TDI in Lakeside and they have a Dyno we can use for the day. details bellow,

I am trying to arrange a Dyno Day here at Torque Developments, Thurrock, Essex (Near Ikea).

We have Dyno Days for Car Clubs here on a Saturday and are looking to maybe do one in August 6th or 20th or 3rd Sept.

We start at 9am and finish about 4pm, we run around 10-12 cars depending on whether 2WD or 4WD cars as the dyno bolts to the wheels and you get 2-3 power runs which give you accurate readings.

We supply unlimited tea or coffee and donuts, free of charge along with free of charge advice and tips relating to your car, how good is that then eh?

We do it for charity which is Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital, the cost is £40 minimum, you can donate more if you wanted to. We sent last year £18,000 to them for Dyno Runs alone for which they appreciated very much.

Anyway what I would really like to know is will I get at least 10 people in running their cars and if so what date?

Please let me know....

i have got around 6 cars that are doing the dyno but we can have up to 12. this will be a first come first served system so will need to get your names down on the sheet early to secure your dyno.

so i hope that we can see some of you there.

regards

Didn't realise TDi were still goingHuh Is Mark still running it?...and no they cannot get decent results on their dyno for an auto, as we found out the last time they had a dyno day for WIM.

IS 200 Sport with a few mods, Standardish IS-F. The IS250 SE-L with a few mods has gone to a new home.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Please ignore stupid question above, if I'd sat quietly for 2 mins I would have remembered that the LSD problem is the braking on individual rear wheels and not them running together, if that was the case I'd never be able to drive anywhere lol

One day I will use my noodle and not post silly questions but until then you're just going to have to bear with me lol

On the plus side this means I can still do it Smile
