Don't underestimate the lengths your network will go to, to keep you as a customer. There are some very good deals offered to those who phone up determined to quit the network!

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

You should see how expensive it is over here, to start with we chose a sim only payg with at&t, holy stig its expensive and they charge you for incoming calls and texts also.

To get unlimited calls, texts, internet its either $2 a day, or $50/month. This is sim only!!

The thing I have noticed is the Americans round here don't really care which phone they have and tend to use something called a "land line" for calling? how strange:lol: Most people here have non-smart phones - apple is dominant in the smart phone arena though, well they are American so we expected such daftness. There is free wi-fi everywhere, so thats a bonus for us, as we jump from one to the other when out and about.

Tesco do some similar deals. I paid 6 a month for 100 min and unlimited texts for my daughter. Wife's paying ( via my account, but with no reimbursement) 15 a month for 240 mins 5000 texts and 500mb data. 30 day rolling contracts for the pair..

2tongues You should see how expensive it is over here......... To get unlimited calls, texts, internet its...... $50/month. This is sim only!!

Is that expensive though? Isn't that about £30? Because the deals originally posted as being very cheap are not much different. (Also SIM only and less minutes.)

iPhone owners are much like teenagers. They believe all the hype and are blind to the inferior hardware and overly restrictive software, it's a classic case of style over substance. They all want one because "everyone else has got one" and look, look how shiny! It's a phase, it will pass.

clossie Wife's paying ( via my account, but with no reimbursement)

Haha, I like it. Sounds very much like "my girlfriend's car" - which I fuel, maintain and insure! A little while ago that same vehicle was known as "my car" and we have somehow made this transition without any money changing hands at all!
