Bought my first jap few days ago, and i'd like to tell u how i ended up buying this incredible car. Seriously. I'm in love.
I have been fan of german cars since i have knew something from cars, and i can remember myself saying that i will never buy other than german car. :laugh:
So last thursday i was sitting on computer, looking for car from internet; German, RWD, Air-Conditioning and of course good condition. I had test-drived few BMW 530d's earlier, but it just wasn't for me. I love my friends MB, but couldn't find the "one" for me. I was guite desperate if i could ever find a car for myself, happily we had planned trip for weekend to my friend with another friend. So i rolled the dice and checked cars from there(its few hunder miles from where i live), but this time i used only one search key; lowest price= 9K €. Few rolls with mouse and there it was.
Lexus IS200 Sport, Mileage: 175K km, Manual, Price: 10K
I needed only the little thumbnail picture, and i thought "that's it". Contacted the seller, made up meeting and test-drive, checked map (woohoo, only few kilometers from my friends place), got there next day, test-drived, asked every question came in mind (i had already decided that i would buy this car no matter what), checked the price again, shake hands and here i am with the car of my dreams. :drool:

Mint condition, bought with 17" original lexus rims.
Althought there are couple cons: ERR3!, left side headlight milky and a tiny tiny crack on left rearlight.
Future plans (modifications):
-Completely new audio system, speakers and amp from Rainbow and HU from Alpine (2DIN 7" touchscreen)
-Suprise suprise; removing the original cd/tape/tuner HU and adding autoleads facia
-Cleanin or/and replacing lights
-TRD frontlip
-And hopefully someday TTE Supercharger kit (really need to cash up first) :laugh:
Will post pictures when i get my camera back :p

What's your 10K cost in UK money? Cos until I remembered you aren't in the UK I thought you'd overpaid a bit for an IS200

E-Tuning remap ongoing via Cobb Accessport; Braided brake lines; Stubby aerial; Tinted repeaters and sidelights; 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid; 3" HTP Intake

Just like purple said, finland is on euro. So compared to other is200 with same specs on finland, i could say i paid very good price
