jimxms Yeah the heated seats buttons are a perfect fit in there. I wish I could have used a TRC one, but as they are only momentary it doesn't do the job.
Is it possible to use the front of a TRC button, with "TRC" on it, but bodged onto the rear workings of button you have now?
jimxms I'm still toying with buying a Racelogic traction control unit, so disabling all of the OEM traction control stuff is kind of like the first step of the install. We shall see...
Either this or the advanced driving lessons! (Or, ideally, both.)

Interesting idea mate. I did a slight bodge job by transferring the TRC sticker over to the heated seat button. They are ever so slightly different sizes, but its not massively noticeable.
What I'll probably do eventually is get a proper sticker made up with "VSC" or "OMG" written on it :p

Yeah those are on my christmas list. I really want to do some advanced road driving lessons but also get my car on a track as well so I can get a proper feel for its limitations.

What did you think of it? IAM seems the natural choice, but I don't want anything too 'heavy'. By that I mean I can deal with some revision etc, but I don't want to feel like I'm taking my driving test again.

Even just the 'type' of courses you can recommend would be good. I know I want to do some courses, but I'm not sure what I'd benefit from the most.

I think IAM is a good place to start. I don't think it's very heavy at all. Aimed at normal drivers looking to improve their skills past the basic test standard, with the emphasis very much on safety. After that you might want to look at some kind of track driving lessons too.
EDIT: Interesting note on the IAM, you cannot take it for 5 years after a ban. I was told this when I looked into it recently. The female instructor at the local centre was in her 60s. I spoke to her for a little while, she has PCV and Class 1 and 2 HGV licences, including hazardous substances/explosives etc. and can basically drive ANYTHING on the road (and instruct you to drive most of them too!) with all her entitlements. She also said she has been around The Ring in a 911 GT3RS! She is one COOL old lady, I wish she was my Gran!
