Diameter on OEM downpipe?
Diameter on OEM downpipe?
They come in 2, 2.25 and 2.5 inch sizing so it's gotta be one of those?

10-06-2018, 02:59 PM #1As topic says I'm looking for the pipe diameter on the outlet end of the OEM downpipe. May see if I can get my local exhaust shop to take out the standard cat and weld in a universal Magnaflow one like THIS

Longlife exhausts quoted me a set price of £99 to cut out, and fit a sports cat (supplied by me)
Powerflow however, said they would need to see the car first, but said their labour rate is £54 per hour, and that fitting a cat normally takes no longer than an hour :thumbup1:
So £75 for magnaflow sports cat off ebay, and assuming it takes a full hour to fit.
£130 to buy and fit
So I'll probably be taking a trip to powerflow once I find out what diameter cat to order.
