Well this is going to be my next purchase I spoken with Jerrick from MeisterR one of the club sponsors. and he is going to supply me with a set of these babies.

I have spoken With Tony Bones another club Sponsor (wheels in motion)about fitting these to my car.
He has already said he like the quality of the MeisterR and would recommend them himself.

When you put a set of coilovers on you must get them professionally fitted so you get the very best out of the ride of your car.
Also to make sure your tyres are going to get the most benefit from the up grade.
Wrongly fitted coilovers can result in damage to the suspension tyres and handling, so it is not worth it to have these fitted yourself.

These will be fitted to the car on the 12th August at Wheels in Motion i will try and remember to take some photo's of them being down...

I have heard good things about them also.

I plan to fit my Teins soon. I was hoping to fit them myself, but get WIM to check them over shortly afterwards and adjust the Geo appropriately. Would you not recommend this? I have very little budget for this car (even less for the other two!) and was hoping to save as many professional hours of labour as possible.

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

Stoney I think as long as your competent you could fit these but you would be wise to get them geo asap to make sure you are getting the most out of the tyres and handling.

Why not save money and buy some coilover from MeisterR as he offer £100 off for members and they work out cheaper than the basic Tein coilovers yet these are very adjustable

Well, I have not fitted coilovers before, so not sure I am competent! But I usually manage most things I set out to to car-wise, and would hope that I would not be incompetent! They just bolt on, right?

I would look to get the Geo professionally checked/corrected ASAP, ideally by Tony @WIM, (but it is a 600 mile round trip for me!)

When I say my budget is low, it is almost non-existent! I already have the Teins from my previous car, and they are not the Basic ones (Called Flex, I think, if that makes any sense?)

However that is a very good price on what seem to be very good coilovers, and if I was in the market to buy some, I would almost certainly go for the MeisterRs over Tein, BC or any others.

Don't forget WIM has a network of dealers who will set up IS200 GEO to WIM specifications:tongue_smilie:

"Life's goal is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body. But, rather to skid in sideways........
totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"

Phil the wim network only do standard set up you have to go to Tony if you fall out of the normal set up ie: larger wheels
As Tony supply the recommendation...
I am not saying no one else can do this but I know where I want to go...

Dont forget it will be a two trip affair, one trip to fit and a 2nd trip a couple of weeks later after suspension has settled.
I think the SC430 will look so nice slammed.
