Quick question there are two with clips around in picture 1 to the left are these the front or rear.
I am Sure Tony Bones will know it just in case they ask....

Quick question there are two with clips around in picture 1 to the left are these the front or rear.

The Guys there were taking the front wheel off and noticed the state of the thread not only on the wheel hub but also the wheel nut.
When we closely inspected it the company I order my wheels from supplied me a M12 1.25 nut it should of been a m12 1.5 nut.
I have sent off a email to the wheel supplier to see what they are going to do about this.
I don't hold up to much hope...
The poor guy there then tried to fit the coilovers with out taking the rear wheels off in case the wheel thread would not tighten up.
Anyway three hours later and the car having a full geo done to make sure every thing work ok was finished.
Except the battery went dead on my car this never happens so it may of been because the bonnet and Boot lid was open all this time I not sure if the keys were in the ignition..
When jumping the car I ended up having the ABS and VCS, and VCS off lights stay on.
I am got home and tried to see if pulling the battery lead of would reset the car saftey system and turn of the light.
This never worked so my next option is to try the following.
Open the obd11 under the steering wheel. and take the black cover off it should look like this..

Run a wire to the two high lighted connectors.
. Turn ON the ignition, do not start.
. VSC and Check Engine lights turn ON. That's normal.
. Wait for the VSC light to rapidly flash.
. Turn OFF ignition.
. Pull jumper wire out, cover the OBD-II connector.
. Turn ignition ON, don't start, wait about 15 seconds to make sure everything has initialized.
Has anyone tried this?
Not sure if the sensors were knocked when the coilovers were fitted or the break lines were fitted to the coilovers.
I like to thank Tony (WIM ) and his team for the hard work they put in today and Jerrick (MinsterR )for supplying me these great coilovers.

Trying to install the rear coilovers without the rear wheel off must be a pain in the behind.
Especially when you try to adjust the rear coilovers.
So how does it feel? How does it compare to the standard suspension?
It will fee better after they break in also.
I also work out a way to adjust the rear damper by cutting a hole in the carpet.
But it will take a little of time to find a setting that you like.
Lets us know how it goes.

Went out and ordered a new set of wheel threads, they won't arrive to Tuesday.
Hopefully I get them done next week.

ad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. ad:Unlucky about the threads and the lights! Hope you get those issues sorted quickly and painlessly. But good to see the coilies fitted. I really need to get my ass in gear and get mine fitted!

I'll be bringing my reader to JAE if you haven't got it sorted by then!
That's really daft about the wheel nut threads, but at least you can just punch out the old studs and fit new ones. As far as Jap cars go it's only really Nissans that use 1.25 threads! If that fix doesn't turn the lights off you'll need to do a fault code check with an OBD reader. If there is actually a fault, I would assume it'll be ABS sensor related.
I'll be bringing my reader to JAE if you haven't got it sorted by then!
