Very nice mate. S2000 is on my list of one of the cars I WILL own. It's just a case of when I get round to it.

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

2tongues There's a place near Silverstone that does a Supercharger for the S2000, and the only thing that you notice is the fact that you are the fastest thing on the road - there's a black one in MK with 600BHP+, I swear its on rails: roundabouts are just a turn in the road. You only see a black blur and an amazing noise as it passes you.

Besides even Clarkson said they have the BEST 4 CYL engine ever invented - and that is a compliment as its not a Ford.

TTS Performance near Silverstone - they do Rotrex Supercharger kits for them. Thing is cost wise with the clutch upgrade and other bits, ECU, mapping etc you are looking at around £7k+ unless you are handy with the spanners.

Nice s2k AP1 buy.
My bro has the same '00 new formula red.
It's a great car ...for fun.
Any specs/mods?
in my opinion DO NOT BUY the AEM V2 if you want to drive the car all the time.
my bro has a replica and a single exhaust and it makes great sound but the induction sucks water when it rains which caused a IVAC failure and it's not cheap to be replaced.

Can this not be in some way enclosed or shielded from rain? Sees a pretty poor design if not!

Stoney Can this not be in some way enclosed or shielded from rain? Sees a pretty poor design if not!

enclosed maybe or better protected but there is no way to shield it.the filter is exactly behind the driver's "for you, passenger's for us", "fog light" cover at the front bumper,so it sucks air and water from the headlight and under the car too.also the piping goes behind the engine cooler which i think that its too hot for an induction.
the best secured way for me...custom made induction box at the headlight, air filter custom pipes and somethink close to this one
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Spoon-Sports-H...891wt_1026

2 way air suck!!!and more secured.i 'm going to built one for the s2k but i don't know when cause i'm currently builting an air box-shield for is200.

Car looks nice Smile I looked into buying one of these last year with intentions to supercharge it, but I couldn't find a good one, and then I couldn't shift the MR2.

I can confirm... I tried to keep up lol. I think it's very dark blue though not black. It has an aftermarket stainless exhaust too, but it LOOKS like the stock one (exits are same style and size). Sounds mint and goes like a stabbed rat.

I expect you have seen the high powered black one on youtube in the US? With exhaust exiting just behind the front wheel, sounds like a BEAST.

thought of supercharging, if i was going to it would be the vortechs kit as its only £3500 and gives you 358bhp. Alls comes down to costs really. Will post up a mods list soon.

Right little update chaps, with the looming price of fuel and the fact that i now have a new job in Malmesbury, Driving the S2000 to and from work would be totally unrealistic on both fuel and car ware. Selling it was on the cards but i will be buggared if i am going to let it go that easy, so i opted for a 106 diesel as a second runner. £400 quid to buy, $535 to insure, £71.50 to tax, 50+ Miles to the Gallon. Trust guys this is the way forward dont sell up because of the fuel price just get cheap small efficent cars to do the donkey work and enjoy your proper cars when you can. Will post up some Pics when i can.

Going to take the s2000 off the road in november until Japfest Next year when hopefully i should be able to get the following sorted
1. Poly Bush and Recon all Lower and Upper Arms
2. Obtain and Fit JDM front Skirt (£30 from Ebay USA - Winning)
3. Buy and Fit Eibach of HKS lowering Springs
4. Buy and Fit Rota D2 18 inch Staggered Rims
5.Fit Parrot MKI Bluetooth (inbox currenlty)
6.Replace factory with Clifford CAT 1 Alarm
7.Buy Toyo R888 for 16 rims and nail the s**t out of it round the coombe next year at Japfest
8.Replace exhaust with JDMHonda System
9.Replace Headlamps
10.Paint Brake Discs and Calipers - Possible replace brake lines althought the standard ones are fibre reinforced and are apparently awesome
11.Possible Car wrap boot and bonnet - Undecided
12.Run it on a tank of 99 octane with 10 litres of rock oil pro boost to see what the gains are. Apparenlty the hogher the octane in these car the faster they go. i.e on the full cap its says run on 99 octane if you run on 95 performance is poo.
13.Replace crappy car speakers
14.Replace Honda Badges
15.Fit air scoop, carbon fibre cooling plate and bonnet sturts.
16.possible make some sort of air ducts for front brakes
17.Service Car with K&N oil and air filters.

Cant think if anything else.

Should look something like this when i am finish
