Ive just bought another rx8 only thus 1 is UKDM and mine is JDM.
my idea is to take the leather interior for my clothe but the seats are electric and heated so does anybody know if the wiring is in my car to plug them in???
I am also wanting to take the sat nav out and put into mine so I can use the screen and have built in sat nav (obviously lol) does anybody know if this is plug and play or do I need to rip out the wiring???
Lastly (for now) my zircon only goes to 18degrees and the other car goes to 15degree and is ice cold in comparison.
Not sure why there's a difference but there is.
What would this be controlled by???
Thanx in advance
Chris

Chris I am guessing that the electric for the seat should be there.

You may need to add fuses though.
Maybe the same with the sat nav unit, but less likely to have connectors.

The air con sounds like the cars are two different systems maybe its different condensor rads so check them first.

Hi,not too sure, but my hunch is that the UKDM and JDM cars would be different. If you take the Lexus Is 200 for instance it is almost impossible to fit a non sat-nav car with a sat-nav,so would think your chances are slim but worth researching further though.

after researching as much as i can thro various other sites i have decided that the sat nav can stay in the current car lol.
its literally all seats, most of dash out.
then the satnav is linked into the speedo housing and other bits.
i've found 2 ppl on the rx8 club in america that have done it and it averaged around 3-4 days solid. which considering it takes around 3-4 seconds to fit my satnav to the screen i dont think its really worth it lol
