I'm looking into the possibilty of getting some new wheels, and just wondering what sort of money I'm looking at for my Aero rims?

They are in absolutely perfect condition, had them professionaly refurbed by Pristine Alloys in Milton Keynes a couple of months ago so you won't have any issue with corrosion, they are straight and true with no dents etc. And would come with the 5 point Lexus centre caps.

They currently have tyres fitted but I would get these removed before the sale as it would cost me too much to replace for the money I'd get.

Here's a couple of pictures from after the refurb...

I know these are quite difficult to get hold of in this condition, but like anything it's all down to timing, and I may not even find a buyer unless there happens to be someone looking at the time.

But even if you don't want to buy these, any advice on what sort of money they are worth would be useful Smile

Gord I just sold 4 with good tyres for £300, not 100% good condition, about 90% really

Beat me to it! Was about to say Gord just sold some!

Without tyres I would expext to see anything over £200 for them in mint condition, up to £300 maybe.

That said, if nobody else snaps them up, I'll give ya £150 for them

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

hmmm, might have to stick them on eBay if I do come to sell them as they've gone for a lot more in the past.

It really depends on the person that buys them...like I said, it's all in the timing.

Looking back, I'd have been quite happy to pay up to £350 for a fully refurbed set with genuine centre caps. As I got them for £200, then spent over £250 getting them refurbed. So even at £300 its a huge saving, but if the buyer isn't too fussed about having flakey paint or a couple of scuffs on another set then £300 may seem steep.

I know that only too well...the prices I quoted were excluding the £400 I spent on new rubber for them after the refurb.
