I would go for the coilovers as you can adjust the car to the level you require.

I am glad i chose the coilovers over the springs

The ride is so much better.

Also the coilovers that I got (MisterR )are so much lighter and smaller than the Lexus ones

Even though we've never had coilovers, on standard 17s I think so mate.

Yes mate if you happy to pay the extra then go for it.
The drive is so much better you feel you can attack corners so much quicker.
Also by having the coilovers it really does not have to upset the harshness of the ride.
My ride on comfort is no different.
MisterR have around 32 Levels of damping.

I guess pay under £600 for the coilovers and around £220 for springs + around £200 to get a company to fit and £95 to have the Geo set up at Wim this is a must even if your just done yours.

Please believe me when i say it is really worth doing it right once....
Here a link for your car on the MeisterR http://www.meisterr.com/Site/Lexus_IS250_GSE20.html

Dont forget you will get a club discount off that price
