I'd say it is still worth doing on 17s. Springs are ok, but if you can afford the extra, I think coilovers are worth it, if you plan to keep the car a while.

I will soon fit Teins to my IS200. The Teins are a great bit of kit, but even more money! I already have them from my previous car, but if I was purchasing now, would probably get the MeisterRs, as they represent much better value for money. I will run on stock wheels for the time being, with a view to upgrade to 18s or maybe even 19s in time.

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

Here's a pic of my IS250 SE-L with 17" OEM's after it was lowered on the American spec Eiback Pro Springset (front drop1.5", rear 1").

...and after fitting the Volks 19" and the rest of the mods

IS 200 Sport with a few mods, Standardish IS-F. The IS250 SE-L with a few mods has gone to a new home.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

lebon How was the ride on the 17s with eibach springs?

The American Eibach specification is more progressive than the European spec so until you actually start to really load the suspension it doen't feel any different than OEM. When really pushing it felt similar to my IS-F.
The difference between the tyre profile on the 19" and the 17" rims was more noticable.
