steering rack bushings???
steering rack bushings???
hi all, i have noticed a clunk when moving the steering wheel back and forth and can see the steering rack bushings on the RH side (where the steering rod enters the rack) have some movement.
appaerently these bushings are not available seperatly ??
ORMI: can you confirm???
I have seen full bushing kits for the GS and IS300 though
does anyone have a link for an online parts fiche so I can check some part numbers??
I posted one up recently somewhere that might help...

I got the bushes For the lower control arm 2 from here http://www.modworld.co.uk/lexus-is200-19...7811-p.asp
And the rack bushes from Toyota
i had some searching on the net last night and this morning and found a posting over on my.is
there is a company in the US that sells "hard race" brand bushes, you can find them easily on ebay also by typing "is200 bushes" the company topspeed in the US sells them for 50 USD per kit, 1 kit will do the control arm 1 +2
100USD for all 4 bushes = 60 GBP bargain. obviously doesnt include postage but thats not too much.
