I'm not a big fan of Mercs personally, but I do think some of them look nice. That doesn't extend to that coupe though, which I think looks really horrible.

Why is it that she's leaning towards that car Anees, is it the looks ? Or is it driveability too, what with having to rev the S2000 to get the best out of it ?

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Steve you need to go out and test drive the S2000 to fully understand why you need to rev it.
But basic are the car changes from a normal driving car to a little pocket rocket around 3500 revs all the way up to 9000 revs

I have told my sister the S2000 is a far superior car to that poncy ugly Merc she has seen but she just says she thinks it looks nice. I have told her to get her eye prescription changed.

She isn't concerned about the performance difference, just the fact the Mercedes looks "nice" and is quite economical. She says the S2000 is just not the car for her but she doesn't know why.............

UPDATE GUYS:

She deffo doesn't want the Honda but I don't want her getting the Merc pile of poo. She has also suggested a Mazda RX8 because its a clever design with the suicide doors and looks pretty nice. I have been in one before and the interior is nice too - miles better choice then the Merc AND its JAP Big Grin

I know the stories about the oil and the fuel economy but the car just takes her to work and back into Manchester so the economy is not that worrying and from what I hear the oil problems are overplayed and were more of an issue with the RX7.

Looking for a Red (ideally) or Black or Blue RX8 with a budget Max of £7K. Must be a 231ps model.

Honda S2000 I'll decide what to do with........I love it (so does the wife :lolSmile and once you have had a convertible you always want another so I'll see what I can do with it because for me to sell it and then get another next summer it would hard to find one as good at the right price and mine has been WIM'd and setup the way I like so I know the car is right. Smile

Help needed with RX8 hunting then please guys................ Smile

And I never tought that would be me! lol

Just spotted this:

http://www.rx8ownersclub.co.uk/forum/vie...15&t=27045

Its not the right colour she wanted but it is spec'ed well and only in Manchester. Needs a bit of work on it at the back bumper but hope to get the price down to the £6K mark.

Might give him a ring but really she wanted a red
