I am trying to install remote keyless entry. I'm in ireland and drive a 99 Toyota Altezza, RS200, 5spd auto. The car never came with the main 2/3 button key fob, just the valet key (seems there is no transonder in the altezza) and also there is no alarm, so i only have central locking using my key in the drivers door, this bugs me so trying to set up the keyless entry.
Anyway, i'm really hoping someone knows the colour coding of the wiring of these cars, especially the central locking set up.
I have bought a remote keyless entry system and it's wiring set up is as follows - -
orange
white - Lock
yellow
orange/black
white/black - Unlock
yellow/black
purple - parking light
red - +12V
black - Ground
pink - trunk
So, does anyone have a clue where to connect to, as in driver footwell or locking button in drivers door? What colour wire in the car corresponds to the above layout?

I may have misunderstood does the car have remote locking from the key
If so the wiring isn't easy but it can be done you have to take apart the mpx ecu and connect into that
I explained this method in another post here can't think where was to do with a viper alarm
What alarm is it your trying to fit ?

Currently 280bhp/295lbft; 3" Meercat custom exhaust; KW Suspension; FMIC; SSP; HPFP; Custom Stainless Steel Dials - for the moment, the only set in the world!! (Till the group buy for MPSOC anyway :lol: )

The kit i'm fitting is a cheap after market kit, it can be wired into an alarm if the car already has one, as i don't, i just want the lock/unlock wiring
no, there is no factory alarm on the car and as i never had the original key i never had remote central locking so that's all i'm trying to add - a Remote Keyless Entry - just to give me the ability to lock/unlock doors with the fob that comes with the kit, with NO alarm.
