Injen vs JWT
Injen vs JWT
ok so my 350z has the JWT pop charger installed rough spec from there site
350Z 03-06 POP-CHARGER AIR FILTER W/HEAT SHIELD. PRODUCES A REAL 6.5 HP INCREASE AT THE WHEELS! HEAT SHIELD INSURES COLD AIR TEMPERATURES. AWESOME SOUND, EASY INSTALL, 50 STATE EMISSION LEGAL, WHAT MORE COULD WANT!
but
They show the following on the site which increases the power
http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/wolfpdf...R-TEST.pdf
Now im after some bling lol and i know from various other cars Ians Sc430 which has a weapon-R intake it sounds tasty and then Jims Ls which has made a noticable noise increase you can now hear the engine
so with this in mind i had a hunt around and found this
http://www.injen.com/docs/other/search.a...=10&Eng=V6
question is guys and girls what are the general views on the systems i dont want to loose any power but want a more throatier noise increase in power would be good but not expecting huge amounts as the car is GT4 spec so has increased power already....
:confused1:
jimxms Injen no question. Weapon-R intakes are all marketing BS imo and the quality is generally pretty poor.

Lexusboy Jim the Injen is a better finish in deeper quality chrome than the Weapon R But there is a vast difference in the cost, I have been very happy with the Weapon R.
The only other difference is the postion of the Maf Sensor Weapon R is found on the top where as the Injen is on the side...
I would not say the Weapon R is pretty poor in fact i say it is a very good valued piece of kit.
And both of them produce a great sound from the engine...
My Verdict is if you have the extra money buy the Injen
If not then your still not be disappointed with the Weapon R.
