Well, this is going to be an interesting one so bare with me.

For a long time now my car has had the booring old wipers that are made of metal with a thin blade on. Very old fashioned and as they have gotten older, not that effective at clearing water from the windscreen so turned more into smearers rather than wipers. For ages I have wanted the auerotwin wipers from Bosch but they wouldn't fit on the drivers side for the following reason.

As you can see the drivers side wiper arm actually has two arms so it can twist the wiper blade and cover more of a surface area of the windscreen so because of this,

the wiper blade sits above the arm. Now the Bosch wiper blades have a clip that sits over the end of the arm fixing the wiper blade to it. This obviously doesn't work on my car, untill now.

Wandering into my local branch of Halfords, I noticed that the Valeo blades didn't use a clip and presto, I have modern looking wipers.

I have a Silencio set from Valeo too. Really good stuff :thumbup1:
