Sorry top keep going on about this car in your thread (i can moderate it into a seperate thread if you want?)

does he do any of the work himself? or is the most he does is open his chequebook?

I don't mind - I'm here for conversation and it doesnt need to be centered around me and my own car.

He did say it takes him 2 days to remove the audio installation to change a brake light, which I believe he does attempt with help, but the auto electrician is on quick dial where he admits not having an idea how it's wired up. The initial fiberglassing, I think he did, but the finishing and painting - no way.
He contributes, but for the main part, he opens the cheque book.

I can understand getting the work done by others if you dont know what to do but i think its better if you did alot of it yourself and can at least say thats me i did that i made that.

ive no problem with others doing it as long as they get the credit

Yeh, even if I had someone else do the work, I still wouldnt be able to stand not understanding the work that was done.

I do have the ability to respray a car, but dont have the space to do it.
The bits I can do... I do. I'll be **** sure to be the one that fits modifies and prepares any modifications though.

When it comes to the beast - I dont know how much involvement he had with exterior mods so cant really offer an opinion. He ordered 16 coats of laquer, spent over 5k on the spray job, and is the one that painstakingly keeps it up to scratch though.

Sparkystav I think i may bring a tent for mine next year, maybe a little gazebo or something lol, then call it the "animal" or maybe "the better beast" lol, have some women in various "animal" suits around it. Sell mechandise etc?

Rabs make sure were next to them next year lol.

Call it "Beauty" - after all, Beauty tamed the Beast after teaching him a lesson or two...

Lexuspat ^^^^ :kiltsmilie:

by the way there club is going it will only be his car there next year

The guy and anyone who wasnt online last night havnt got a clue whats been said about him because it's all been swept up, he doesnt contribute on the forum at all as it is.
So, for £20 like everyone else, but no other contributions, he gets a red carpet and ZERO entertainment laid on because apparently the beast was all the entertainment we needed.

Funny, they took down my other layout suggestions and just left this, which in context is what I was suggesting to avoid.... Thier accepted layout for next year is for his oversized tent to grow into a swastika (was an enormous 4 roomed 'plus (+)' shaped thing so not much different), zeds out on the road, and the club marquee to grow teeth with an invite only bouncer at the entrance. No alcahol allowed and no wheelchair access.

I have a feeling the turn out wont be so good next year, and those that do, will have thier own backup plans for entertainment / alternate club tent.
