Weighing up my options to fund other mods at the moment, I hardly ever use the car PC since I installed it and it seems a waste when loads of people seem to want them. So just seeing how much interest there is before I seriously consider selling it.

It's a 7" Lexus sat nav housing custom fitted by yours truly with a 7" touchscreen monitor with 2 x AV input and a sensor lead for auto switch function if you fit a reversing camera.

Running a full version of Centrafuse with the navigation pack, also includes a USB GPS reciever.

And all runs off an Asus netbook which fits perfectly in the glovebox and only requires a 12v cigarette lighter power feed (I would supply this)

You will however either need a GROM or aftermarket headunit for the sound, basically just anything with an AUX in for the audio.

Might be interested, though will probably make my own using the screen I recently bought. Gotta be after £400+ for it?

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

As far as price goes, as Stoney managed to work out (must have been crunching some numbers already? lol) For there to be any point selling I'd be looking at an absolute minimum of £400. Been through the figures and it cost a...bit, more to put it all together, plus time for the screen customization etc.

hahaa, that brightened up my day Smile I've taken your advice on board and decided to move my price testing to a more dry location.

el_bandido would an ion2 eee box type thing not be a better option?

I did weigh up the options for what to power the system with, but decided a netbook would be better for the following reasons:

1. Already runs off 12v, doesn't require external power supply
2. Can be taken with you and used when you reach your location
3. Has it's own screen so it's easy to update software etc. without having to connect to a monitor
4. Fits perfectly in the glove box
