Hmm time will tell really. All depends on if I get a 2nd 'average' family car or decide to buy a family car with some serious grunt.

If I keep the IS3 I'll probably also keep the GE engine (if its not dead by then) as I know its history unlike a 2nd hand GTE and just build it for more power and go single turbo.

For the most part I dont thing GTE swaps are neccesary. I've seen plenty of GE's pushing 700,800,900BHP and the SRT IS300 still has the GE block and is pushing 1500HP!

Ive just bought a lovely Mondeo, 2001, 166k, £435! perfect second car whilst i get to work on mine over the winter

Very nice. I'd be needing something MPV sized though as I cant seem to keep it in my pants :whistling:

This winter is definitely goign to be interesting though if it snows again :/
