Phil01 they are lovely rims and look superb on the car, so many people stare at it now but they are 18s and have totally upset the dynamics of the car, I feel every bump, lots of kickback and twithcy, infact its not so nice to drive now I have to concentrate in a corner, it is no longer a one handed control, you need both hands on the wheel at speeds, the 16s before felt planted at any speeds.
Must try 17s next

Yeah, I chose to keep mine on 16s, with a bit of extra width. Never liked the feel of the Celica on 18s, though they can look good!

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

Gord I know you dislike black sooo much and this time I do agree with you.
My intentions are to get white rims.
I bought these rims for £80 from ebay as I needed two front tyres as everyone pointed out at JAE haha, these rims worked out cheaper with tyrs than buying new rubber.
Since fitting these rim they have caused horrendous wheel imbalance and upset the dynamice, but last night I found they needed spigot rings and after carefully refitting them in a central position to the hub 80% of the wobble has disappeared. if after fitting new rings today the drive improves then I shall get these rims powder coated white, if not then they will stay on the car black and keep them as winter wheels as in the mean time try and source some 17s and get them coated white over the winter period.
or
get them coated in bright orange, or even in lime green/yellow as I saw that nice white GT4 at JAE and they did look nice. Opinions please guys.

John I prefer straight skirts but taking into account these are genuine plastic Toyota skirts they came already in white ready to fit and they only cost me £59.99 from ebay I would have been stupid not to buy them.
Sometimes beggers can not be choosers when you are on a limited budget.
