Members in the South West
Members in the South West
Now that my status has been officially updated to South West Area Rep, I thought I would start this thread with similar intentions as Boost's thread for South East members... except for members in the South West!
I kindly ask any members in the South West to post on this thread. There are no official boundaries, so if you consider yourself to be in the South West, then you probably are! But generally speaking, I suppose we are looking at Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and maybe even as far as Gloucestershire. Members further up the coast (Poole/Southampton area) as well as Bristol and South Wales could also fall into this area too, I guess.
I hope to compile a list of South West members, initially to gauge how many active members there are in the area. I will in future look into arranging some local meets, convoys to national events and possible discounts at local stores and/or facilities.
Please state your location, this is important. Optional info you can also mention may include what car you drive, if you would be interested in attending meets, other suggestions for local activities etc.
I get the impression that there are not so many members in the South West as there seem to be in other areas of the country, though this thread should help me get a better idea. If you have any local friends/family/colleges that are interested in Jap cars, then please encourage them to sign up to the forum and post on this thread too.

Tango I'm in Gloucestershire about 10 miles south of Cheltenham, drive a Lexus IS-F, and would consider attending SW meets.
It would be great to have the F down at a meet Tango. Would also be good to meet you, after many years. You used to run charged IS200 did you not?

Phil01 I am a Kent member but would be willing to venture down on occasions stoney, maybe organise a bigger weekend meet with members of the South crew
Well that is kind of you Phil, a long way for you, but sure Oli would be well up for it! With the level of SW m,embers as it is, I think collaboration with Boost and the SE may be required!
