What's that about needing a Civil Aviation Authority license to fly one? I fly R/C aircraft and unless they go over a certain weight and size a CAA license isn't required. This drone doesn't come anywhere near the criteria.

IS 200 Sport with a few mods, Standardish IS-F. The IS250 SE-L with a few mods has gone to a new home.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Off topic...but what R/C aircraft do you fly? I had a TT Raptor 30 untill a couple of months ago.

I mostly scratch build from plans, and have built, flown, and crashed many types. Currently have a 1/4 scale Tiger Moth and Hurricane in build, both with large 4 stroke I/C engines.
Also have a 71" wingspan Sukhoi Su-26 and a similar size Extra 300 aerobatic aircraft that have flying at the moment. The Sukhoi is a ***** to fly, really twitchy.

IS 200 Sport with a few mods, Standardish IS-F. The IS250 SE-L with a few mods has gone to a new home.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I have always wanted to fly a helicopter, but the difficulty and amount they cost has put me off a bit!!

I own the AR-Drone. What a great bit of kit. It flys strait out of the box and anyone can fly it. Very stable.
There's quite a few different control apps on the iPhone. Parts are easy to get as well. ( you will need extras trust me ). I can definitely recommend if your anyone is thinking of buying one of these. Also there is a few ways to mod it

Here is mine with a little light mod Wink
I also have a 3d nitro 50 class rc helicopter but that's a serious amount of work.
