...and it's a hybrid. Full engine specs haven't been released, which seems strange for something with a Sport badge.
Appears to be mainly cosmetic changes like the 250/220 F-Sport. The F-Sport upgrades do not liberate any more power from the GS’s V6 petrol engine and electric motor powertrain. However, according to Autocar, Toyota was planning to equip this new generation of GS with a detuned version of the LFA supercar’s 4.8-litre V10 powertrain. This model would give Lexus a rival to the BMW M5. Perhaps this will happen eventually.

While we're talking F-Sport, Lexus are unveiling a CT200h version too http://uk.autoblog.com/2011/10/21/who-sa...he-ct200h/

IS 200 Sport with a few mods, Standardish IS-F. The IS250 SE-L with a few mods has gone to a new home.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I suspect it's mainly exterior styling that is updated.

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

That looks a lot better than the standard version, a nice V8 under the bonnet would be good as well though Smile

The V10 would be better, even in a (slightly) detuned version. Thought that was the plan anyway for a GS-F.

Totally agree - but the LFA's engine is such a bespoke masterpiece I can't see it being an option unless they either decide to make a loss on them or make the GS-F ridiculously expensive.

Having said that I would probably be happy to pay a premium to have that engine in a car that costs considerably less than £340k!!
