I will definitely be coming to this next year, didn't have quite enough time to plan it this year. But I'll be keeping a space in my diary this time around Smile

I'll be old school.

A raffle with prizes and an old fashioned tombola.

The cash from the tickets goes to a prize fund.

£2 a ticket bought in advance with a cut off date one week before JAE.(time to sort out prizes).

The more tickets bought the better the prizes....car goodies, Blue Ray players, in car audio/ICE gear, a set of coilovers....who knows, the more who buy the bigger the prizes.

Hopefully enough people buy tickets to have a special prize and some other prizes.

Minimum buy is £10=5 tickets...maximum is £100=50 tickets.

Tickets are issued either by post if bought previously or can be collected on the night.

Entrants then put their tickets in the tombola and the draw begins.

Ticket sales will dictate the type of prizes....including the obligatory dinner for 2 in a London attraction............................2 Pot Noodles and a trip on the Eye.

Only an idea mind.

time for an update on this show for everyone

So last weekend saw the Reps meet which myself and Bandit attended, this was a good chance to catch up with other clubs and discuss changes to the show and improvements to the weekend

so 1st up the club has now booked it space based on last year we had 4 squares and it got a little cramped by the time all the tents were in plus 50 cars so this year we have gone for 6 squares to which we will have a few designs drawn up to try and win best club stand.

We are Located in B2,B3,B4,C2,C3,C4
[Image: Ebisu1.jpg]

Tunnel Run
JAE & Miss Banzai are doing another tunnel run this time they will be doing it on the friday night instead of thursday this is for 2 reasons, one to try and get more people attending and also to entice those that havent done it before that are at JAE to think ooh yeah ok ill give it a go maybe not every car from a club stand but say 4 people pile into one car to just experiance the tunnel run etc.

Departure time for the run will be announced nearer the time but likely to be between 11:30pm and 12:30am

Show and Shine
this is the biggest change this is now an all day event on the friday, those entering the show and shine can arrive on the thursday night from 6pm onwards to prepare the cars, the club will offer lighting in the paddock to allow cleaning and polishing to go on into the night etc

the winning cars will be announced friday night i think and then be left on display all day saturday in a confined paddock with security and fenced off again it is at the owners discretion if they want it on show all day away from the clubs stand...

There is no maximum number of cars a club can enter into Show & Shine examples of categorys they will be judging
Car of the Show
Classic
Best modified
they will be based on manufacturer category's

IKO Events
There will be a number of inter club events that we can enter including football tug of way eating events etc etc there will be a separate thread for this once we have full details.

On site food stalls
there will be traders on site again they are not cheap as before so the club is happy to arrange a BBQ and food for the weekend a poll will be put up for the type of food for the show people would like

Traders
they are increasing the traders area and have a dedicated person dealing with traders for the show this year they do already have a Dyno booked plus the usual type of stalls we have been assured there will be more than the last year Smile

Tickets
Tickets must be purchased through the club, if you buy a ticket on the gate you wil not be able to gain access to the club stand, if you buy a day ticket your car will not be allowed into the show ground, the club will be issuing our own stand passes to members as a keep sake for the show.

Sunday
there is the option to camp on the Sunday night at the show ground and they are looking at laying on more activities on the Sunday this could include demonstrations on how to do things to your car Arc rolling was mentioned maybe even a inter club games. day tickets will also not allow camping and as such any cars from the day car park past 11pm for example will be towed off site they dont want to do it but if they have to they will

Behaviour
As with previous years the venue has a no tolerance or bad behaviour and indecent actions the police will be called, drink or dangerous driving will result in a stay at the local station and car keys confiscated. the club will also not tolerate any misbehaviour on the stand by members or the public and as such security will be called and those people dealt with accordingly.

set to be a good show :w00t: Big GriniscoStu:

Was great where we were last year, can't wait for this one again, we'll both be coming (with our friends again too as far as I know) for the weekend (probably arriving Friday night again as Mike has to work - I don't Big Grin - although that may mean I'm car prepping all day lol). Mike's brother also wants in as he's now passed his test and bought a Jap car, we have told him to join up Smile
